Falk Gear Drive and Drive Shaft Services to reduce lead times and increase uptime

All units receive a no-load spin and oil pressure test with filtration to prevent debris form entering the lubricant
Exterior of the gear reducer is repainted to original Falk or customer specification
All seals are replaced with original or better quality based on improvements in seal materials
Housings are chemically dipped to prevent future failures caused by debris in the lubricant
All gearing is analyzed using Magnetic Particle Inspection to find any cracks that could cause a future failure
All bearings are always replaced with only high-quality, Tier 1 bearings
New gearing is made to original OEM specification (Falk or other gear manufacturers) for material and tooth hardness

Complete failure analysis available on request including X-ray, Ultrasonic, MPI of all components, Grease and Lubrication Analysis, Material and Hardness analysis, and Engineered reporting new conditions
Rebuilds are stripped and painted (standard or epoxy) or coated (nickel plating, powder coating, phosphate coating are available) to Rexnord specifications and like new conditions.
Slip sections are nitrided as standard with sealed cover tube and lubrication points, other options such as short and long slip, and boots to cover tub for exposed section.
Lubrication points for cross and bearings (standard 1PT with option for 4PT, optional block centers, optional guards to protect grease fittings)
Service includes on-site inspections, installations, preventative maintenance and alignments
New and repaired shafts are dynamically balanced to G6.3 or customer specification. Welds are done with automated submerged arc welder to Rexnord welding standards.
