Developed for a resonance-free operation of diesel-driven powertrains, and particularly two-bearing generators, the CENTAFLEX-D is also ideal for centrifugal pump sets and other similar drives. Offering a medium torsional stiffness, the CENTAFLEX-D series couplings are typically used for drives with working speeds above the main resonance speeds found in blowers, generators, and pump sets. Available in six design sizes with torques from 250 to 40.000 Nm (29,500 lb-ft), the CENTAFLEX-D series accommodates most diesel engines from small 3-cylinder engines to engine ratings up to 5,000 kW (6700 HP) at 1500 rpm.
