Rexnord Announces Transition of Clinton, TN (USA), Operation

MILWAUKEE, WI (USA) — On May 28, 2015, Rexnord announced the transition of the Clinton, Tennessee Cylindrical Roller Bearing (CRB) operation to a planned Rexnord facility in Monterrey, Mexico. These actions will not impact CRB fit/form/function, quality, reliability or performance specifications. This transition will improve delivered value and increase the long term competitiveness of the CRB product line.

The operation in Clinton will continue manufacturing through the transition period. The initial transfer of work centers and key equipment will begin in January 2016. During the interim period, Rexnord will be taking all necessary steps to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of supply including inventory build and redundant supply chain capabilities.
