Rex and Link-Belt: Simply the best for high-temp, high-contamination environments

Spherical Roller Bearings

In high-temperature, heavy load industries like mining and construction, selecting the right bearing means everything.
The materials present in applications such as paving machines, dryer/drum mixers and conveying applications can reach 400oF, (204oC), and that heat, combined with contamination (which is also high in such processes), creates a high-risk environment around the bearings.
That’s why it’s essential to select bearings that have sufficient temperature tolerances and sealing options to maximize bearing life and reduce maintenance.
Rex and Link-Belt solid-housed mounted roller bearings provide the solution for these situations. They’re easily customized from the factory or in the field to meet the needs of your most demanding, dirtiest environments. And with our unique design, internal clearances are easily adjusted during the assembly process or in the field to accommodate high heat environments without the need for special components or as “made to order” products.

In our expansive ball and roller bearing portfolio, we offer a wide range of sealing options to meet the needs of these applications. Specifically for high-temperature, high-contamination environments, we offer heavy-contact VitonTM seals. These not only provide the necessary protection from contaminants, they can withstand temperatures to 400o F (204o C).
Interchangeable seals for our mounted roller bearing line allow users to quickly and easily upgrade existing parts without the need to replace the entire unit. This means you can easily protect your equipment and extend your bearing life with little time or effort invested.
